Shorted Key - Keypad Pressed Continuously

What This Means

Key pad pressed for 10 seconds or more; Short circuit in membrane keypad; Short circuit on PCB connector

How to Fix

1. 1

   Check membrane wire harness connection with PCB

2. 2

   Disconnect membrane wire harness and inspect for short circuits

3. 3

   Check harness, membrane, and PCB for short circuits

4. 4

   Replace PCB if no short circuits found in harness or membrane

5. 5

   Replace membrane keypad if damaged
