Good to know

6 technician insights for the this appliance

maintenance

Steam heater elements prone to scale buildup in hard water areas; include descaling service recommendation for maintenance contracts

Meat Probe 50kΩ Specification Importance

The meat probe thermistor must measure exactly 50kΩ Â± 5% at room temperature - probes that read 45-50kΩ are degrading and will cause temperature reading errors soon, so replace when out of spec even if not currently failing

common_failure

Some models have DLB (Double Line Break) safety - this means both heating relays must activate together to prevent element from getting stuck on. If one relay fails, no heating occurs at all.

Steam Mode Operation Caution

Steam function errors (C-70, C-71, C-72) only occur during active steam cooking mode. If no steam mode is selected, these codes will not appear even if sensors are faulty. Always test during steam mode operation.
