Compressor
IPM output voltage must exceed 80V AC (measured at COMMON-POWER pins on driver PCB) for the compressor to be considered operating normally. Check this approximately 10 minutes after compressor starts, not immediately on power-up.
Defrost
Forced defrost mode is Test Mode 3 (press Main PCB test button 3 times — display shows '33 33'). This is the only way to energize defrost heaters for voltage testing. Confirm 112~116V at heater connector during Test Mode 3 before condemning the heater.
Test Mode
Always enter Test Mode 1 (1 press of Main PCB test button) to force all fans on before measuring fan voltages. Fan voltages at CON3 are only valid during active fan operation — measuring with fans off will give misleading results.
