Door sag and seal failure prevention
This 84-inch tall refrigerator is very heavy and doors are prone to sagging over time, especially when loaded with food. Monitor the door gap - if a paper sheet can be easily pulled out from between door and frame, the gasket is failing or door is sagging. Upper hinges wear faster than lower hinges. Replace gaskets proactively every 4-5 years as preventive maintenance, not waiting for failure. If door sags more than 1/4 inch, adjust hinge bolts on top hinge before the door becomes difficult to close and strains the compressor.
