Knocking and branch-breaking door noises
Refrigerator makes knocking or branch-breaking sounds when shelves and liners collide. This occurs due to pressure changes during door open/close and thermal expansion/contraction of cabinet materials. Solution: check shelf clearance and consider installing noise-preventing trim shelves. Verify shelves are sitting firmly on their support rails without wobble.
Temperature control lag in winter operation
In winter or cooler ambient conditions (below 59°F), fresh food temperature may rise 1-2°C (1.8-3.6°F) above set point, especially if door not opened frequently.
