Dual Ice Maker System Operation
This model has two independent ice makers: freezer (7 cubes) and fresh food (6 cubes). Each has its own water supply line with a heater to prevent freezing. The freezer ice maker uses an auger motor to dispense, while the fresh food uses a different mechanism. If only one side produces ice, the other's water line is likely blocked by ice. The FZ-Ice Pipe Heater and FF ice duct/room heaters must all be working. Ice maker errors after 3 failed attempts trigger a function error code. Power cycle after replacement resets the error counter.
