Error Code 13E
Humidity sensor voltage is outside valid range (0.6V to 4.7V)
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: 13E
What This Means
Humidity sensor output voltage below 0.6V (open) or above 4.7V (short); Bad connector at CN60 pin 7; Open or short in humidity sensor circuit
What actually causes this:
Failed humidity sensor, moisture ingress on sensor or connector near left fridge door
First Thing to Check
Check CN60-7 to CN60-16 resistance with power off; ~50 ohm is open-state normal
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
With power off, measure resistance at CN60-7(W/YEL) to CN60-16(FLAT_WHT); normal open resistance is ~50 ohm
- 2
Check MICOM IC01 pin #8 input voltage with power on
- 3
Verify voltage of Resistor R218
- 4
Compare sensor output to humidity sensor table: 0% RH = 909mV, 100% RH = 3683mV
