Compressor Starting Issues

If compressor won't start after forced operation is activated, the unit may have internal overload protection. Wait at least 10 minutes from when compressor last shut off before attempting forced operation. Even with forced operation active, compressor may not restart if overload condition is detected by internal thermal protection.

Defrost Cycle Timing

Freezer defrost cycle has a hard limit of 70 minutes. If evaporator temperature doesn't reach expected level before 70 minutes, defrost error is triggered. This protects against stuck heater relays that could cause excessive heat. Temperature must reach above +10 to +17 degrees Celsius before heater stops and cooling resumes.
