Error Code IE

Water Inlet Error

Moderate

Address soon - your appliance may not work properly

What This Means

Correct water level (24.6 kHz) not reached within 8 minutes after water is supplied; Preset water level not reached within 20 minutes; Air chamber or tube clogged; Inlet valve filter clogged with foreign material; Inlet valve connectors broken or loose; Inlet valve resistance out of range (should be 0.8-1.2 kΩ); Connector disconnected from MAIN PWB assembly (NA2, NA4, BL3); Electrical connection faulty (refer to wiring diagram); Pressure switch defective

How to Fix

  1. 1

Confirm IE is displayed on panel

  2. 2

Press WASH/RINSE and DELAY WASH simultaneously to check water level frequency — if below 24.6 kHz, check air chamber and tube for clogging

  3. 3

If frequency is OK, check if inlet valve filter is clogged — if yes, clean or replace the filter

  4. 4

Check inlet valve connectors for looseness or breakage — if broken, reconnect or repair the connector

  5. 5

Measure resistance between each terminal of inlet valve assembly: should be 0.8-1.2 kΩ — if out of range, replace INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY

  6. 6

Check if inlet valve connector is at 120V AC while power is on — if yes, replace INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY

  7. 7

Check connector at MAIN PWB assembly (NA2, NA4, BL3) for disconnection — if disconnected, reconnect or repair

  8. 8

Check electrical connection per wiring diagram (page 53) — if faulty, replace MAIN HARNESS

  9. 9

After reconnecting connector, re-check water level frequency — if still below 24.6 kHz, check PRESSURE SWITCH

  10. 10

If all above checks pass but error persists, replace MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY

  11. 11

Installation safety check: verify no water tap leakage, no freeze, no hose entanglement, no water shortage, no hose shrinkage, no hose leakage
