Smart Install Test Mode Entry
Enter Smart Install by choosing SELFCLEAN course, then pressing Start/Pause for 7 seconds. The display shows 'AS'. From there: Start/Pause = automatic test, Water Level = manual test, Temp+Start = diagnostic code recall, first left button = S/W version.
Washer Auto-Drains on Certain Errors
When 1C, 4C, or LC codes are displayed, the washer automatically drains for 3 minutes. During this time the Power button is inoperative. Wait for drain to complete.
Drain Pump Intermittent at High Temp
If the drain pump malfunctions intermittently when wash tub water temperature is high, the pump needs replacement. High temps can cause thermal failures in marginal pumps.
