What This Means

Power button pressed continually for more than 12 seconds; A switch is jammed or stuck due to uneven pressing from deformation of control panel or button; Sub PBA screws tightened too much, pressing on switch contacts; A button other than Power is pressed continually for more than 30 seconds; Deformation of internal plastic injection part; Main PBA IC switching on/off has occurred continuously

What actually causes this:

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. Check whether the Power switch or either a defect of the main PCB is continually pressed

  2. 2

    2. Check the contact between the control panel buttons and their corresponding tact switch

  3. 3

    3. Check whether the service PBA holding screws are fastened too tight — if so, loosen them a little

  4. 4

    4. There must be a gap between a control panel button and its corresponding micro switch

  5. 5

    5. If the main PBA main relay has occurred, an 'E2' check occurs. Otherwise, a check occurs after approx. 30 seconds

  6. 6

    6. Check the connections — if there is no check in the passed connections, replace the main PBA
