Hot and cold hose reversal causes water supply error
Swapping the cold and warm water supply hoses is a common installation error that triggers nF (water supply) errors, particularly when the washer expects cold water but receives hot water over 50°C during Wool or Delicates cycles. Also, the warm water and rinse connectors can be incorrectly switched with each other on the valve side.
Winter freezing causes multiple error codes
In winter, freezing can cause nF (water supply), nd (drain), OE (overflow), and tE (temperature sensor) errors. Before diagnosing component faults during cold weather, check for frozen hoses, valves, and drain lines first. A hair dryer can be used to defrost hoses. Consider recommending the customer relocate the unit to a warmer location.
