Drain bellows foreign material check for LC errors

For automatic drainage type washers, when diagnosing an LC (water leakage) error, always check the drain bellows for foreign material like underwires from bras and coins. During natural draining, the bellows can clog with these items, causing water to back up and trigger the leak sensor.

Winter freezing causes multiple error codes

In winter, frozen pipes and hoses can cause 5C (drain), OC (overflow), TC1 (temperature sensor), and HC/HC1 (heater) errors. The heater errors occur because the water level sensor operates without water (frozen supply) and the heater runs dry, triggering the 100-150°C overheating protection. Use a hair dryer to defrost hoses and consider relocating the washer if freezing is recurrent.
