5 technician insights for the Samsung WF45R6100A Series Washers (2024)

Motor nut removal technique

The M19 motor retaining nut must be torqued quickly and firmly in a single counter-clockwise action. If turned slowly, the motor rotates with the nut and it will not come free. Use a sharp, forceful single motion.

Rotor has dangerous magnetic force

Removing the rotor requires significant force due to the permanent magnets. Be extremely careful of your hands and arms because the rotor may come off suddenly once the magnetic grip releases, and you can injure yourself.

Stator bolt count varies by model

The stator is held by either 3 or 6 M10 screws depending on the stator model utilized. When removing the last screw, hold the stator as it will fall when the last screw is removed — it is heavy enough to cause injury or damage.
