Check for foreign material between rotor and stator

After disassembling the motor, always check for foreign material (such as screws or debris) between the rotor and stator before reassembly. Foreign material here can cause motor short circuits, coil damage, and 3C motor driving errors.

Rotor removal requires significant force

The DD motor rotor is held in place by powerful permanent magnets. When removing the rotor, it will resist and may suddenly release. Keep hands and arms clear of the gap between rotor and stator, and brace yourself for the sudden release of magnetic force.
