Moderate

Address soon - your appliance may not work properly

Also displayed as: DC (upper) / DC (lower)

What This Means

Switch contact error because of a deformation of the door hook; Door is pulled by force; Door is pushed during Boil wash due to pressure difference from internal temperature changes; Door switch fault; Main PCB fault

What actually causes this:

The door was not pushed closed firmly enough, or the door latch mechanism is worn out

First Thing to Check

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. If DC/DC1 error occurs, check whether it occurs during the Boil cycle

  2. 2

    2. If it is detected that the door is open, close the door

  3. 3

    3. Check the door switch — 120V is connected directly to the door switch

  4. 4

    4. Check Reed S/W resistance: checking part White-Green wire, resistance approximately 0.2 ohms

  5. 5

    5. Check Door-Lock S/W terminal connections and contacts

  6. 6

    6. Bring probe of tester into contact with two terminals of Door-Lock S/W (checking part: Black-Brown wire)

  7. 7

    7. In state of door close (DC error): resistance should be 34 to 51 ohms

  8. 8

    8. Check Reed S/W resistance between terminals of Door-Lock S/W (DC1 error): checking part White-Green wire, resistance approximately 0.2 ohms

  9. 9

    9. Check Lock/Unlock motor resistance: checking part White-Red (Lock), White-Blue (Unlock), resistance approximately 0.2 ohms

  10. 10

    10. If resistance is satisfied with spec, replace the PBA
