Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check the connections for the motor vane and sensor vane connectors — reconnect
- 2
2. Measure motor vane coil resistance (disconnect first) — CCW: Red to Black wire, CW: White to Black wire — normal: approx. 1.625-1.796 k-ohms
- 3
3. Check sensor vane position sensing — Brown wire to Black wire: Sensor ON = 0V, Sensor OFF = 5V
- 4
4. Adjust Motion Assy and identify fault — if faulty, replace Motion Assy
- 5
5. Check motor vane relay operation on Main PBA — CCW: voltage between pin 8 (White) of CN401 and Red wire of CN101 — CW: voltage between pin 7 (Red) of CN401 and White wire of CN101 — normal: 110-120V while operating
- 6
6. Check the Power Relay — see Power Relay check procedure
