Humidity sensor failure

How to Fix

1. 1

   Turn off the dryer.

   Inspect moisture sensor bars inside lint filter housing for contamination or damage.

3. 3

   Check wiring harness between sensor bars and main PCB (connector WH6) for damage.

   Measure resistance between WH6 (GN) pin and chassis ground; should be less than 1Ω.

   Disconnect WH6 connector from main PCB; jumper WH6 pin (OR) to WH6 pin (BL).

   Measure resistance between the two sensor bars; should be less than 1Ω with jumper in place.

   If not, check all connections and wires between WH6 terminal at main PCB and sensor bars.

   If wiring is intact but fault persists, call for service.
