How to Fix

1. 1

   Enter diagnostic mode and press START/PAUSE once; dryer tumbles without heat.

   Open door; dE should display and chime should sound 7 times if sound is on; drum light (if equipped) should come on.

   If dE displays and light comes on, door switch is working properly — problem is elsewhere.

   If dE does not display, disconnect WH1 and BL3 connector from main PCB.

   Measure resistance between WH6 pin (GN) and chassis ground screw; should be less than 1Ω.

   If greater than 1Ω, check all wiring harness connections and ground screws.

   If less than 1Ω, disconnect BL2 and WH4 connectors from main PCB.

   Measure resistance between BL2 (WH) and WH4 (YL); should be less than 1Ω with door closed and open circuit (∞) with door open.

   If incorrect, replace door switch.

10. 10

    Also check WH4 (YL) and WH4 (BK); if resistance is not less than 1Ω with door open and ∞ with door closed, replace light bulb or socket.

    If all mechanical checks pass but error persists, replace the main PCB.
