Excessive heat buildup due to restricted vent system, thermistor resistance out of range, heater malfunction, or thermostat failure.
How to fix it
Clean out the exhaust vent from the dryer to the outside wall. If the vent is clear and the error continues, the heating element or related safety switch may need replacing — call a technician.
