Why this happens
Compressor overheating may result from restricted airflow, an out-of-range resistance in Thermistor 2, a clogged or dirty condenser, or a compressor malfunction.
How to fix it
Clean out the exhaust vent from the dryer to the outside wall. If the vent is clear and the error continues, the heating element or related safety switch may need replacing — call a technician.
