Why this happens
A clogged lint filter may restrict airflow, or there could be a restricted vent system leading to heat buildup. The issue might also arise from thermistor resistance being out of range, or due to a thermostat failure or heater malfunction.
How to fix it
Clean out the exhaust vent from the dryer to the outside wall. If the vent is clear and the error continues, the heating element or related safety switch may need replacing — call a technician.
