Critical

Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue

Also displayed as: 9E1

What This Means

Not using regular power source (voltage out of range); Over-voltage condition from utility; Faulty outlet or wiring; Voltage sense circuit fault on PCB

What actually causes this:

The electrical outlet isn't providing the right power — could be a tripped breaker, loose plug, or wiring issue.

First Thing to Check

Check your electrical panel and make sure the dryer's breaker hasn't tripped — flip it fully off then back on.

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. Measure voltage at the outlet: should be 240V (electric) or 120V (gas)

  2. 2

    2. Check for blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker

  3. 3

    3. Verify dryer is on a dedicated circuit (30A for electric, 15A for gas)

  4. 4

    4. Check wire harness connections to PCB

  5. 5

    5. Check power supply integrity

  6. 6

    6. If voltage is correct and wiring intact, replace main PCB
