Door reversal is a 16-step procedure — document screw positions
The door reversal procedure involves 16 detailed steps including removing hinges, exchanging cover-hinge and handle positions, moving the holder-glass, and reinstalling 14 screws (2 of which are longer than the others). A spare cover-hole is included in the assembly manual. Always document which screws go where — the 2 longer screws (L) must go back in their original positions to avoid structural issues.
Door switch insert direction is critical during reassembly
When reassembling the door switch to the Frame Front, the insert direction is critical. Installing the door switch in the wrong orientation will cause it to malfunction and may trigger dC or dF error codes. The manual specifically warns to be careful of insert direction. The removal technique involves pressing the hook, pulling to the frame surface, rotating to 5 o'clock direction, then pulling to front.
