How to Fix

1. 1

   Enter diagnostic mode and press START/PAUSE once; dryer will tumble without heat.

2. 2

   Open the door — drum should stop tumbling and dE should display. Chime should sound 7 times (if turned on). Drum light (if equipped) should come on.

3. 3

   If dE does not display or light does not come on, proceed to mechanical test.

4. 4

   Disconnect WH1 and BL3 connectors from main PCB. Measure resistance between NA6 pin 6 (GN) and chassis ground. Should be <1Ω. If NO: check wiring harness connections and ground screws.

5. 5

   Disconnect BL2 and WH4 connectors from main PCB. Measure resistance between BL2-1 (WH) and WH4-1 (YL). Should be <1Ω with door closed and infinity with door open. If YES: Replace main PCB.

6. 6

   If NO on previous step: Check WH4-1 (YL) to WH4-4 (BK). Should be <1Ω door open and infinity door closed. If NO: Replace light bulb or light socket.

7. 7

   If YES: Refer to individual door switch and light bulb/socket component tests.
