How to Fix

  1. 1

    Confirm that house gas shutoff and the dryer gas shutoff are both fully open.

  2. 2

    Verify gas supply pressure is adequate.

  3. 3

    Check that gas service is active to the dwelling.

  4. 4

    If gas is on and pressure is correct, check gas valve coil resistances (each coil should be 1.5k-2.5kΩ).

  5. 5

    Check igniter resistance (50-800Ω for part 5318EL3001).

  6. 6

    Check flame detector: open at 370°F max (resistance = infinity), close at 320°F (resistance <1Ω).
