How to Fix

1. 1

   Activate diagnostic test mode: press POWER while pressing MORE TIME and LESS TIME simultaneously.

   dE error only appears in test mode.

3. 3

   Turn power off and discharge voltage.

4. 4

   With door closed, measure resistance between BL2-3 (White wire) and BK2-3 connector after removing BL2 and WH4 from controller; expect below 2500Ω.

5. 5

   With door open, measure resistance between BL2-3 (White wire) and BK2-3 (Black wire); expect 300–600Ω.

6. 6

   With door open, measure resistance between WH4-2 (Yellow wire) and BL2-3 (White wire); expect below 10Ω.

7. 7

   With door closed, measure resistance between WH4-2 (Yellow wire) and BL2-3 (White wire); expect below 10Ω.

8. 8

   Check door switch per component testing procedures (COM-NC terminals).

9. 9

   Check lamp — if door lamp is faulty it can affect door circuit; replace lamp and re-measure.

10. 10

    If all switch measurements pass, check controller and harness-linking connectors.

11. 11

    Replace door switch if COM-NC(1-3) does not read below 12Ω when door knob is open.
