How to Fix

    Do not use the dryer until the exhaust system has been cleaned and/or repaired.

  2. 2

    Inspect the entire exhaust duct run for lint buildup, kinks, or debris blockage.

  3. 3

    Check the outside vent hood for obstructions or damage.

  4. 4

    Clean ductwork thoroughly.

  5. 5

    Ensure duct run is not excessively long; use rigid metal duct where possible.

  6. 6

    Error code is displayed for 2 hours only; opening the door or pressing POWER clears the display.

  7. 7

    If restrictions persist after cleaning, reroute or shorten the exhaust system.
