Steam generator thermistor open or shorted

How to Fix

   1. tE4 is displayed only in test mode.

   2. In diagnostic test mode, press START/PAUSE button — tE4 indicates AG thermistor open or shorted.

   3. Turn off dryer and discharge voltage.

   4. Disconnect CN7 connector (Natural White) from main PCB — CN7 carries pins 1-2 Pump (AG), 3-5 AG Sensor H, 4-5 AG Thermistor.

   5. Check resistance of AG thermistor pins at CN7.

   6. Test generator assembly (Test 9): Is resistance 14.3Ω ± 5% between heater terminal 1 and 2?

   7. If NO → Replace generator assembly / steam generator assembly.

   8. If YES → Normal condition — check harness and connectors.

   9. Replace the steam generator assembly.
