Error Code F-10
Door Lock Fail — Door lock motor failure during lock or unlock operation (during self-clean or lockout).
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F-10
How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect power to the range.
- 2
Check terminal looseness of the micro switch and door locking motor — if loose, reconnect and retest.
- 3
Measure resistance of the door lock micro switch (normally open type): door latch open = continuity, door latch locked = infinite. If readings are reversed or both show the same, replace the micro switch.
- 4
Measure resistance of the door locking motor: normal is approximately 2.6 kΩ; abnormal is infinite (open) or below 5Ω (shorted). If abnormal, replace the door locking motor.
- 5
If motor and switch check normal, check connector CN03 for looseness — reconnect if loose.
- 6
If CN03 is normal, check Power PCB voltage outputs at CN13: PIN1(GND) to PIN3 should be approximately 9V; PIN1(GND) to PIN4 should be approximately 4.5V to 5.5V.
- 7
If Power PCB voltages are abnormal, replace the Power PCB.
- 8
If voltages are normal, replace the Main PCB.
