Error Code F10
Door lock failure — door lock motor fails to complete the lock or unlock cycle
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F10
How to Fix
- 1
Note: Immediately after self-clean starts, the door lock motor begins to rotate. If the switch does not actuate after two rotations, F10 appears.
- 2
Press CLEAR/OFF for 3 seconds and attempt to open the oven door. If door opens, the lock mechanism is normal — check wiring.
- 3
Unplug the unit.
- 4
Check all electrical wiring at: (1) relay in Main PCB, (2) locking motor and micro switch, (3) CN60 and CN61 on Main PCB — reconnect or fix any loose/disconnected wiring.
- 5
Measure resistance of the door lock micro switch (normally open type). With door latch in poor/open position: COM to CA = continuity. With door latched/locked: COM to CA = infinite. If switch does not match these readings, replace the micro switch.
- 6
Measure resistance of the door lock motor (R x 1000 scale). Normal is approximately 2.6 kΩ ±10%. If infinite (open) or below 5Ω (shorted), replace the door lock motor.
- 7
If micro switch, motor, and wiring all test normal but F10 persists, replace the Main PCB.
