Error Code F2
Oven sensor short — oven thermistor circuit is shorted
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F2
How to Fix
- 1
Unplug the unit.
- 2
Check connector at oven sensor and at pins 4 and 5 of CN60 on Main PCB — reconnect or fix any loose/disconnected wiring.
- 3
Measure resistance of oven sensor (thermistor) at room temperature (77F/25C). Normal is approximately 1.09 kΩ ±10%. If below 5Ω (shorted), replace the oven sensor.
- 4
Plug in the unit and verify thermistor value in test mode: press CLEAR, press BAKE+BROIL simultaneously, press BAKE+BROIL again, press NUM 3. Normal reading at room temp is 70°F to 90°F displayed.
- 5
If sensor and wiring are normal but F2 persists, replace the Main PCB.
