Error Code F6
Oven overheating — oven temperature exceeds 650°F continuously for 2 minutes during cooking (excluding self-clean)
Moderate

Also displayed as: F6
How to Fix
- 1
Unplug the unit.
- 2
Check resistance of oven sensor (thermistor) at pins 4 and 5 of CN60. Normal is approximately 1.09 kΩ at 25°C. If abnormal, replace the oven sensor.
- 3
Measure resistance of the broil igniter relay (RY52/Tab 01 and Tab 52) — normal is infinite (open when de-energized); if shorted, replace the Main PCB.
- 4
Measure resistance of the convection bake igniter relay (RY60/Tab 60) — normal is infinite; if shorted, replace the Main PCB.
- 5
Measure resistance of the DLB relay (Tab 62 or Tab 61) — normal is infinite; if shorted, replace the Main PCB.
- 6
Plug in the unit and verify thermistor reading in test mode: press CLEAR, press BAKE+BROIL simultaneously, press BAKE+BROIL again, press NUM 3. Normal room temp reading is 70°F to 90°F. If abnormal, replace the Main PCB.
- 7
If all relays and sensor are normal but F6 persists, replace the Main PCB.
