Error Code F1
Sensor open — oven thermistor is open circuit
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Oven temperature sensor wire broken or disconnected; Loose connector at oven sensor or at Main PCB CN31 pins 4 and 5; Failed oven temperature sensor (open)
How to Fix
- 1
Unplug the unit from power
- 2
Check the oven sensor connector at CN31 pins 4 and 5 of the Main PCB for looseness or disconnection; reconnect if loose
- 3
With power disconnected, measure resistance of oven thermistor — normal is approximately 1.09 kOhm at 25C (77F); if infinite (open), replace the thermistor
- 4
Plug in the unit and enter test mode: press any button to place encoder in Off, then press buttons in order (+, Oven Light — hold Oven Light 3 seconds), press Oven Light again (hold 3 seconds), select 't3' with + button, press START — current oven temperature displays
- 5
Normal thermistor reading in test mode is 70F to 90F at room temperature; if abnormal with good wiring, replace Relay PCB
- 6
If the same phenomenon occurs after replacing Relay PCB, replace the Main PCB
This Error Applies To
