Error Code F7
Convection fan motor open — convection fan does not operate for cumulative 1 minute during convection fan operation period
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Failed convection fan motor (open windings); Fan motor relay shorted or failed; Loose or disconnected wiring to convection fan motor
How to Fix
- 1
Unplug the unit
- 2
Measure resistance of convection fan motor windings — Fan High winding: approximately 25 ohms +/- 10%; Fan Low winding: approximately 30 ohms +/- 10%; if infinite (open) or below 5 ohms (shorted), replace the fan motor
- 3
Check fan motor relay resistance at Relay PCB CN53: Fan High relay — measure 5th and 7th pin of CN53 (RY8); Fan Low relay — measure 3rd and 7th pin of CN53 (RY9); normal is infinite (open); if shorted, replace the Relay PCB
- 4
Check all connectors and harnesses associated with the convection fan for loose or disconnected connections; reconnect if loose
- 5
If connectors are good and motor and relays test normal, replace the Main PCB
This Error Applies To
