Error Code E CL
Low side cycle leakage — detected by low side refrigerant leak, bad compressor, or prolonged door opening
Moderate

How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Confirm error via SVC App or temperature gun. Verify it is not a customer use issue (door open too long).
- 2
Step 2: Check PCB voltage. If PCB is faulty, replace PCB.
- 3
Step 3: Use SVC App to measure pressure equalization recovery time. More than 15 minutes indicates restriction.
- 4
Step 4: If equilibrium pressure is above 20 psi, compressor is likely defective — replace compressor.
- 5
Step 5: If equilibrium pressure is below 20 psi, refrigerant has leaked. Charge with nitrogen.
- 6
Step 6: Check low-pressure side parts (evaporator, suction pipe) with bubble solution or refrigerant leak detector. If leak found, replace leaking part plus drier AND compressor (moisture entry from low-side leak).
- 7
Step 7: If no low-side leak found, check high-pressure side (condenser, drier).
- 8
Step 8: If no leak located, install UV drier for next visit.
- 9
Step 9: Error clears automatically when freezer temperature reaches 14°F after repair.
