Error Code E CO
Communication error between main MICOM and display MICOM — poor communication connection
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: E CO
How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Check all hinge wiring harness connections (the display communicates through the door hinge wiring). Reseat any loose connectors.
- 2
Step 2: Measure voltage at CON101 18th Pin ~ 16th Pin; should be 12V. If absent or incorrect, check hinge connector tightness. If hinge is OK but voltage absent, replace Main PCB.
- 3
Step 3: Measure voltage at CON101 10th Pin ~ 16th Pin; should be 5V. If absent, check hinge connection; if OK, replace Main PCB.
- 4
Step 4: Measure voltage at CON101 14th Pin ~ 16th Pin; must NOT be 0V or 5V. If stuck at 0V or 5V, replace Display PCB.
- 5
Step 5: Measure voltage at CON101 12th Pin ~ 16th Pin; must NOT be 0V or 5V. If stuck, replace Main PCB.
- 6
Step 6: Measure voltage at CON5 4th Pin ~ 3rd Pin; must NOT be 0V or 5V. If stuck, replace Display PCB.
- 7
Step 7: Measure voltage at CON5 5th Pin ~ 3rd Pin; must NOT be 0V or 5V. If stuck, replace Main PCB.
- 8
Step 8: If all voltages correct, explain to customer.
