How to Fix

Enter ice maker test mode by pressing the ice maker test button. Observe if the ice tray and ice maker motor rotate. If they rotate normally: explain normal operation to customer.

Check ice maker forward status: measure voltage between (1) Pin1 and (2) Pin4. Expected: 11~12V during forward drive. If 11~12V is present and motor does not run: replace the ice maker kit.

Check ice maker reverse status: measure voltage between (1) Pin1 and (3) Pin8. Expected: 11~12V during reverse drive. If 11~12V is present and motor does not run: replace the ice maker kit.

Check ice maker forward voltage: if (1) to (2) voltage is 0V when it should be active — replace Main PCB.

Check ice maker reverse voltage: if (1) to (3) voltage is 0V when it should be active — replace Main PCB.
