Defrost Sensor Error

How to Fix

1. 1

   1. Check for loose or disconnected connector between Main PCB, defrost controller, and sensor.

   2. If connector is disconnected, reconnect or repair and retest.

3. 3

   3. Check sensor resistance across CON5 10th Pin to 9th Pin.

4. 4

   4. If resistance is 0 ohm (short) or infinity (open), replace the defrost sensor.

5. 5

   5. If resistance is within table values, sensor is normal — explain to customer.
