How to Fix
- 1
Press Ice Plus + Freezer button simultaneously to read error within 3 hours of occurrence.
- 2
Check for loose or disconnected connector between Main PCB, defrost controller, and sensor.
- 3
If connector is disconnected, reconnect or repair it.
- 4
Measure sensor resistance at CON7 pin 19 to pin 22. If resistance is 0 Ω (short) or infinite (open), replace the sensor.
- 5
If resistance is in range, cross-reference: -5°C=38kΩ, 0°C=30kΩ, 5°C=24kΩ, 10°C=19.5kΩ, 15°C=16kΩ.
- 6
If temperature/resistance values are normal, explain normal operation to customer.
- 7
If abnormal after sensor checks out OK, replace Main PCB.
