Error Code CO E
Communication Error between Main PCB and Display Micom
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: CO E
What This Means
Poor communication connection; Poor transistor (TR) on transmitter/receiver; Loose hinge connection; Loose CON101 or CON5 connector
How to Fix
- 1
Check all connectors (CON101, CON5) for loose connections. Reconnect if loose.
- 2
Measure voltage at CON101 7th pin to 6th pin. Should be 12V. If not 12V, check hinge connections for loose contact then replace Main PCB if hinge is OK.
- 3
Measure voltage at CON101 3rd pin to 6th pin. Should be 5V. If not 5V, replace Main PCB.
- 4
Measure voltage at CON101 5th pin to 6th pin. Should be varying (not fixed 0V or 5V). If fixed 0V or 5V, replace Display PCB.
- 5
Measure voltage at CON101 4th pin to 6th pin. Should be varying (not fixed 0V or 5V). If fixed 0V or 5V, replace Main PCB.
- 6
Measure voltage at CON5 4th pin to 6th pin. Should be varying. If fixed, replace Display PCB.
- 7
Measure voltage at CON5 4th pin to 8th pin. Should be varying. If fixed, replace Main PCB.
- 8
If all voltages check out, explain normal operation to customer.
