Freezer Fan (BLDC) Error — feedback signal not received from freezer fan motor within 65 seconds
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: E FF
How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Reset the unit and enter Test Mode 1 (push test button 1 time).
- 2
Step 2: Open the freezer door and check for airflow. If windy, proceed to Step 4.
- 3
Step 3: If no airflow, manually rotate the freezer fan blade with your hand. If it feels sticky or seized, replace the fan motor.
- 4
Step 4: Measure fan motor power voltage at CON7 pins 12–14. Expected: 12V. If voltage is not 12V, replace the Main PCB.
- 5
Step 5: Measure fan control signal voltage at CON7 pins 16–14. Expected: 0V to 5V (PWM). If not in this range, replace the Main PCB.
- 6
Step 6: Measure fan feedback voltage at CON7 pins 10–14. Expected: 0V to 5V. If voltage is not in this range, replace the fan motor.
- 7
Step 7: If all voltages are correct and airflow is present, explain to customer.
