Freezer Fan (BLDC) Error — abnormality of BLDC fan motor for freezer; motor does not respond after 3 retry attempts (each attempt: 15s on, 10s off)

How to Fix

Step 1: Reset the unit and enter Test Mode 1 (press test button 1 time).

Step 2: Open the freezer door and check air flow at the fan outlet. If airflow is present (windy), proceed to Step 4.

Step 3: If no airflow, manually rotate the fan blade by hand. If it feels sticky or binding, replace the fan motor.

Step 4: Measure voltage at CON7 12th pin to 14th pin in Test Mode 1. If voltage is not 12V, replace Main PCB.

Step 5: If 12V is confirmed, measure PWM control signal at CON7 16th pin to 14th pin. If voltage is not between 0V and 5V, replace Main PCB.

Step 6: Measure fan feedback voltage at CON7 10th pin to 14th pin. If voltage is not between 0V and 5V, replace the fan motor.

Step 7: If all voltages are correct and fan still does not run, replace the fan motor.

Low Side Cycle Leakage — detected by low amplitude cycle variation; caused by low-side refrigerant leak, bad compressor, or extended door-open condition
High Side Cycle Leakage — detected by high amplitude cycle variation; caused by high-side refrigerant leak, restriction in system, bad compressor, or bad valve
