Error Code IE
Water Inlet Error — correct water level (24.6 kHz) not reached within 8 minutes after water is supplied, or preset water level not reached within 20 minutes.
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Air chamber or tube clogged; Inlet valve filter clogged with foreign material; Inlet valve connectors broken or loose; Inlet valve assembly resistance out of range (should be 0.8-1.2 kΩ); Connector to MAIN PWB assembly (NA2, NA4, BL3) disconnected; Incorrect electrical connection (wiring harness); Water level frequency below 24.6 kHz indicating overfill issue; Pressure switch failure
How to Fix
- 1
Confirm IE is displayed on panel.
- 2
Press WASH/RINSE and DELAY WASH buttons simultaneously and check if water level frequency is below 24.6 kHz. If YES → check air chamber and tube for clogging.
- 3
If frequency is OK → check if filter inlet valve is clogged with foreign material. If YES → clean or replace the filter.
- 4
If filter is OK → check if inlet valve connectors are broken or loose. If YES → reconnect or repair the connector.
- 5
If connectors are OK → measure resistance between each terminal of inlet valve assembly. Expected: 0.8-1.2 kΩ (refer to section 9-5, inlet valve assembly). If resistance is out of range → replace the INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY.
- 6
If resistance is OK → check voltage at inlet valve connector. Expected: 120 V AC at all terminals of INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY while power is on. If voltage is correct → replace the INLET VALVE ASSEMBLY.
- 7
If voltage is not present → check if connector to MAIN PWB assembly (NA2, NA4, BL3) is disconnected or disassembled. If YES → reconnect or repair the connector.
- 8
If connector is OK → verify electrical connection is correct per section 9-5 wiring diagram (page 41). If NOT correct → replace the MAIN HARNESS.
- 9
If wiring is correct → after checking connector, press WASH/RINSE + DELAY WASH; if water level frequency is below 24.6 kHz → check the PRESSURE SWITCH.
- 10
If all above are OK → replace the MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY.
- 11
Installation safety checklist: verify no water tap leakage, no freezing, no hose entanglement, no water shortage, no hose shrinkage, no supply hose leakage.
