What This Means

Thermistor (temperature sensor) out of order; Thermistor connector loose or disconnected

How to Fix

    Confirm tE is displayed — note: power turns off if not resolved within 20 seconds

  2. 2

    Check thermistor connector (NA3) for secure connection

  3. 3

    Measure thermistor resistance (pins 1-2): 39.5 kΩ at 30°C, 26.1 kΩ at 40°C, 12.1 kΩ at 60°C, 8.5 kΩ at 70°C, 3.8 kΩ at 95°C, 2.8 kΩ at 105°C (tolerance ±5%)

    If resistance is out of range for measured water temperature, replace THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY (part of HEATER ASSEMBLY K320)

    Note: thermistor is included in heater assembly — replace full heater assembly (K320) when replacing thermistor
