What This Means

High or low voltage being supplied to the dishwasher; Power supply issues in the home; Faulty electrical outlet or circuit

What actually causes this:

The electrical outlet is providing unstable power, possibly because too many appliances share the same circuit

First Thing to Check

Check that the dishwasher is plugged into a working outlet — try unplugging other appliances on the same circuit

    1. Check the voltage at the power outlet — normal: 120V

    2. Check for voltage fluctuations or brownout conditions
