What This Means
Hot water supply connected to dishwasher exceeds 80°C; Thermistor or Assy Sensor ECS defective (reading incorrectly); Main PBA defect
What actually causes this:
Your home's water heater is set too high, sending overly hot water to the dishwasher
First Thing to Check
Check your water heater temperature setting — it should be 120°F or lower

1. Check hot water connections — ensure water supply temperature is below 176°F (80°C)

2. Check the operation of the thermistor — see Temperature Sensor Error diagnostics

3. If water temperature is normal and thermistor is normal, replace Main PBA
