The water temperature sensor isn't reading correctly
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: No display (silent)
What This Means
The temperature sensor (thermistor) is out of order; The thermistor connector is disconnected; The Main PBA is defective
What actually causes this:
The temperature sensor wire came loose or the sensor itself went bad
First Thing to Check
Turn off the dishwasher, wait 30 seconds, and restart — if dishes are still cold after a cycle, it needs service
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
1. Check and reconnect the thermistor connector
- 2
2. Measure voltage between both ends of the thermistor — normal range: 0.2V to 4.5V
- 3
3. Measure resistance between both ends of the thermistor (disconnect first). Reference: at 25 degrees C (77 degrees F) = 49.12 kOhm, at 50 degrees C (122 degrees F) = 17.60 kOhm
- 4
4. If thermistor tests normal, replace Main PBA
