What This Means
Communications connection for the Main PBA or Sub PBA is not properly connected; Main PBA is defective; Sub PBA is defective; Wire harness between Main PBA and Sub PBA is damaged
What actually causes this:
A power surge or loose wire disrupted the connection between the control boards
First Thing to Check
Turn off the dishwasher at the circuit breaker, wait 60 seconds, then turn it back on

1. Check the CN2 connector on the Main PBA — ensure it is fully seated

2. Check the matching connector on the Sub PBA in the control panel

3. Inspect wire harness between Main PBA and Sub PBA for damage

4. Reconnect all communication connectors firmly

5. If error persists, replace Sub PBA
- 6
6. If error still persists, replace Main PBA
