What This Means
Heater element is defective and overheating; Thermistor is defective (reading incorrectly low, so heater keeps running); Hot water supply connected to dishwasher exceeds safe temperature; Main PBA heater relay stuck closed
What actually causes this:
The heating element burned out, or the water level is too low because of a drain hose issue preventing the heater from activating

Check if your dishes feel cold after a cycle — if so, the heater may have failed

1. Check hot water connections — ensure water supply temperature is below 176 degrees F (80 degrees C)

4. If water temperature is normal and thermistor is normal, replace Main PBA
